REBIRTHING BREATHWORK
Most people would function more smoothly and easily more of the time if they were just able to breathe correctly. Practically everyone restricts their breathing. The result of this shallow breathing is that we operate in a perpetual panic mode as if all of life is a fight or flight situation.  This causes the mental state of dis-ease which we think of as normal and from which we seek escape through addictions and distractions.  It disrupts our activity during the day and our rest at night. When we breath into our entire lungs by expanding the diaphragm we automatically create a mental state of composure and ease which is then reflected in our environment.
What is breathwork?
Also know as Conscious connected breathing is a powerful, safe and gentle breathing technique which releases stress from the body and increases your energy level. It allows you to be more fully present in your body, creating higher levels of conscious awareness, increased health and vitality and an overall sense of well being. 

Another benefit of rebirthing is that it releases stored emotions from the body. By learning to breathe consciously, you are able to uncover and release limiting thought patterns from the past, allowing you to be more in present time.  You can receive tremendous value from discovering how current issues in your life originated from (unconscious) decisions you may have made earlier on. By becoming aware of these decisions you are able to choose differently in present time. 

In rebirthing the breath is the link between the inner self and the outer world. As we focus on the breath in a rebirthing session we become aware of our relationship with our self, others and with life.  In discovering this, we can more easily reframe and release unwanted obstacles and open to ease, clarity, emotional balance, and personal empowerment.
Rebirthing allows you permanently heal your breathing mechanism. In a relatively short period of time, gain the tools to practice conscious-connected breathing on your own.  
What does a session look like?
Each session involves a consultation and approximately an hour of connected breathing. In the consultation, you have the opportunity to discuss where you are in your life now and how the session can best support you.  Then you begin the breathing process.  You are guided by your “breath coach,” or rebirther, during the session through whatever body sensations, emotions, thoughts, or experiences come up.  You breathe until they integrate or release and at the end of the session people report feelings presence, groundedness, feeling energized, and a sense of peace and that all is well and working out.
Why do I want a breath coach?
A Rebirther is a professionally trained facilitator who will guide your breath in a way that enables you to process what occurs during the session. They will guide and support you through emotional releases, thoughts and memories that may surface, as well as physical sensations that you may experience during a session. I will help you trace complex issues in your life to the origins in your subconscious mind. As you increase your awareness of the unconscious and/or repetitive patterns, you receive support in finding solutions and resolution. Quite often the change happens naturally and effortlessly as you raise your awareness and release what is no longer serving you.
